I'm a St. Pete native, an Account Manager for a boutique PR firm and a self-proclaimed pseudo hipster/pseudo hippie hybrid of some sort, currently working on getting my life together. My name is Shannon, but my friends call me Nay Nay. Throughout most of my adolescence and into adulthood, I have not been able to make a decision to save my life - and usually regret the decisions I do make - but I continue to work on this.
I love music (especially in the indie, reggae, dub rock, blues, and jam band genres - with some oldies such as the great Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, The Beatles, etc), live shows, the water, boating, apparently blogging (at least on a personal level), art (although I wish I was more educated on the subject), making people feel awkward, being different, the feeling of accomplishment and lazy days when I feel like there is nothing to accomplish (few and far between they are). My family and friends mean the wold to me - I have no idea what I would do without them. My big, black beast of a doberman, Marley, is pretty awesome too.
I started this collection of my random thoughts and opinions, because well, I like to share my ideas and stories - and am hoping that some of you find them interesting, or at least entertaining.
